Driving Directions

To get to the South Burnt Lake trailhead, go 3 miles past Zigzag on U.S. 26 (21 miles East of Sandy, 7 miles West of Government Camp). Turn left on road 2627 (one lane paved) and go 0.6 miles. Turn left on road 207 (single lane gravel) and go 4.5 miles to the trailhead. The last mile or so can become very muddy and impassable for normal vehicles.
