Hikes starting here

Fees, Facilities, etc.

  • $5 day-use fee or BLM Northwest Oregon Pass or America the Beautiful Pass required from May through October
  • Restrooms, picnic area, ball field, play area, swimming hole (facilities closed from November through April)
  • Dogs on leash

Driving Directions

From I-5, take Exit 194A onto Highway 126 E.

After 4 miles take the 42nd St/Marcola exit and turn left on 42nd Street.

After about 0.5 miles, turn right on Marcola Road and drive for 13.3 miles.

Turn left on Shotgun Creek Road, and continue 1.5 miles to the signed trailhead on the right.
