Driving Directions
Take Exit 30 from I-5 to Hwy 62. Follow Hwy 62 for 14.5 miles to the Butte Falls Hwy on the right. Turn right and go 15 miles to the town of Butte Falls and then another mile to a sign for Prospect. Turn left for 9 miles, then right on the paved Lodgepole Road (FR 34) for 8.5 miles. Continue straight on paved FR 37 for 0.4 miles, then veer right on to gravel road FR 3780 for 4.1 miles to the trailhead. There is parking for 8-10 cars but no amenities at this trailhead.
