Driving Directions

From Portland, drive east on I-84 to the Mosier exit (Exit 69). Turn right at the freeway offramp and follow the Historic Columbia River Highway through Mosier. Continue east on the old highway for almost 7 miles. Look for a turnoff to the right with a big sign reading "Rowena Crest".

Other Notes

Dogs are not allowed in the nature preserve here and unfortunately there is no shade, so they can't be left in the car.
