Driving Directions

Drive Highway 26 east.

From the last traffic light in Sandy, continue 17 miles past Wemme to Zigzag, and then turn left onto E. Lolo Pass Road.

Drive 4.3 miles, and make a right turn onto FR 1825 at a sign that reads Campgrounds, Trailheads.

After 0.7 miles, turn right and cross the Sandy River Bridge, driving 1.7 miles to bear right at a sign for Lost Creek Nature Trail.

After 0.3 miles, pass the entrance to Lost Creek Campground and the road becomes gravel and somewhat potholed.

From here. it's 1.4 miles to the end of the road, keeping straight at a junction on the way, and the Burnt Lake Trailhead.
