This is a series of trail junctions near the top of Nesmith Point. All of the junctions are on Nesmith Point Road #222. The junction closest to Nesmith Point is where Nesmith Point Trail #428 to [[John B Yeon Trailhead]] comes in. South of here 0.1 mile is a junction with Horsetail Creek Trail #425 west to the Oneonta Creek trail system. South of that another 0.1 mile is a junction with Moffett Creek Trail #430 east to Tanner Creek Trail system.

Sign at junction with Nesmith Point Trail (Jeff Statt)

Description

This is one of three trail junctions on Nesmith Point Road, the old lookout road that led to the Nesmith Point Lookout. Nesmith Point is just up the slope, with a view down the reddish maw of this Boring volcano. The old outhouse beyond is now almost completely collapsed.
