Fees and Regulations

  • Dogs on leash
  • No fees, but parking areas can fill up after about 9:30 a.m. on weekends, so arrive early!

Driving Directions

Drive east from Portland on Interstate 84 to Exit 31 near Mile 31. This exit is accessible from I-84 in either direction. Walk under the footbridge to Multnomah Falls Lodge.

Alternatively, exit I-84 at the Bridal Veil Exit (28) and drive the Historic Columbia River Highway eastward to the Multnomah Falls Lodge parking area.

Alternatives to Driving

On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from Memorial Day to September 25th, Columbia Gorge Express runs a bus between the Gateway Transit Center (Portland), Rooster Rock State Park, and Multnomah Falls.
