From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

Revision as of 21:23, 25 October 2018 by Bobcat (Talk | contribs)

Mud Lake (bobcat)

Description

There is a short hike on a side trail to Mud Lake which is the source of the East Fork of Herman Creek. You can look up the scree slopes to Green Point Ridge and watch newts loaf and dragonflies flit about the lake shores. A small rotting raft lies in the sedges near the lake access point. There is no trail around the lake.

There is a campsite on the trail before you drop down to the lake.
