Driving Directions

Drive I-5 South and take Exit 263 for Brooks and Gervais.

Go right on Brooklake Road for Keizer and Willamette Mission State Park, and drive 0.6 miles.

Keep straight at a Stop sign after a railroad crossing. Drive another 1.1 miles; then take a right at the T-junction with Wheatland Road.

After 2.4 miles, turn left into Willamette Mission State Park.

It’s 0.6 miles to the fee station.

Drive on 1.2 miles, turn right for the Mission Lake Day-use Area, and then turn right again for the boat ramp and cottonwood viewpoint.

  • $5 day-use fee
  • Dogs on leash
  • Picnic areas, campground, bicycle and horse trails, historic site
  • World's largest black cottonwood viewpoint
