Description
Middle North Falls is one of the most majestic waterfalls in Silver Falls State Park. In many ways, it's similar to Lower South Falls. The water cascades from a wide sheet about 100 feet into a large basin. Middle North Falls is one of four waterfalls on the Canyon Trail which has a trail going behind the waterfall. Centuries of erosion have opened a large grotto behind the waterfall, and a trail has been constructed through the grotto. The Middle North Falls Trail is sometimes closed due to the danger of falling rocks.
