Middle North Falls from the spur trail
The spur trail behind Middle North Falls

Contents

Description

Middle North Falls is one of the most majestic waterfalls in Silver Falls State Park. In many ways, it's similar to Lower South Falls. The water cascades from a wide sheet about 100 feet into a large basin. Centuries of erosion have opened a large grotto behind the waterfall and a trail has been constructed through the grotto. The Middle North Falls Trail is sometimes closed to do danger of falling objects.
