From Portland, drive south on I-5. Leave the freeway at exit 30 (Highway 62/Crater Lake Highway) and proceed north on Highway 62 for 14 miles to the Butte Falls Highway. Turn right and proceed 16 miles to Butte Falls. The Butte Falls Highway becomes Broad Street in Butte Falls and then Fish Lake Road east of town.

Description

The trailhead is at end of Forest Road 3790, northeast of Butte Falls, Oregon. It has parking for 6-10 vehicles and a turn-around but is otherwise undeveloped, It has no picnic table, fire pit, drinking water, toilet, or garbage disposal.
