Driving Directions

From I-5 travel west on Highway 34 through Corvallis and Philomath. Just west of Philomath, turn left at the 34/20 junction towards Waldport. Travel 9 miles to the Alsea summit and turn right on Marys Peak Rd (FS 3010). Travel nine miles winding around the mountain until it ends at the Summit Parking area.

Other Notes

  • Restrooms and several picnic tables are available here.
  • The Summit Parking Area is normally accessible from 4/1- 12/1. During the winter, the Marys Peak Road is gated just past Connor's Camp Trailhead. In years of heavy snow, opening of the gate in the spring may be delayed past April.
