Welcome to the Portland Hikers Field Guide -- a wiki guide to hiking in the Northwest. This is a place for the outdoor community to collaborate and assemble their knowledge about great hikes and destinations within a day's drive radius of Portland, covering most of Oregon and Southwest Washington. We hope that this becomes a great teaching tool and resource for the the newbie and veteran weekend-warrior alike. Use our search engine, categories, or alphabetical index to learn about popular summits, waterfalls and lakes in our area, and also a bunch of lesser-known trails!

We're always looking for dedicated people to help with this effort! If you'd like to lend a hand, contact any one of our administrators and we'll get you started.
