Driving Directions
Drive I-5 south to Exit 234B for Albany and Highway 99E. After leaving the freeway, merge with Pacific Boulevard and drive west for 0.4 miles.
At a traffic light, keep straight and drive 0.9 miles before bearing right for the City Center and Corvallis.
In 1.0 miles, go right for the City Center and Corvallis.
After 0.2 miles, turn right on Lyon Street and pass through downtown Albany, driving a total of 0.7 miles to cross the Willamette River before turning right on Spring Hill Road.
Keep to Spring Hill Road for 6.8 miles before turning right onto Buena Vista Road.
In 1.3 miles, turn right (don’t cross the Luckiamute River), cross a wooden bridge and drive 0.2 miles to a junction, where the pavement ends.
Bear left here, drive another 0.4 miles and park.
Scenic option taking the Buena Vista Ferry (Ferry doesn't operate between November 1st and April 15th; also closed on Mondays and Tuesdays the rest of the year):
Drive I-5 south to Exit 242 for Talbot. Follow the exit ramp around to the right and come to a Stop sign at Talbot Road.
Turn left here for Talbot and the Buena Vista Ferry. In 2.1 miles, stop at the railroad tracks.
Keep on Talbot Road for another 2.8 miles and turn left for the Buena Vista Ferry and Independence.
Drive 0.2 miles to the ferry landing. Cross the Willamette River on the ferry and drive 0.2 miles up Willamette Ferry Street.
Make a left turn on Main Street and drive 0.2 miles.
Turn left on Buena Vista Road, bend right and then left, and drive 3.1 miles to make a left turn after crossing the Luckiamute River, pass over a wooden bridge and drive 0.2 miles to a junction, where the pavement ends.
Bear left here, drive another 0.4 miles and park.
