Hike Description
This short hike takes you to the summit of Little Cowhorn Mountain where you can explore an old fire lookout and enjoy expansive views.
From the trailhead follow the trail steeply approximately one mile to the summit. The old 1960 fire lookout still stands. It is no longer staffed and it's fate is uncertain. The views from here are spectacular. On a clear day you can see the tip of Mt. Hood, Mt. Jefferson, Three Fingered Jack, Mt. Washington, the Three Sisters, Broken Top, and Diamond Peak.
