Little Boulder Lake

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

Revision as of 20:13, 4 March 2014 by Bobcat (Talk | contribs)

Boulder Lake from the south shore (bobcat)

Description

Little Boulder Lake is the quieter and smaller sibling to Boulder Lake being as it is farther from direct road access and thus more difficult for those trundling in heavy loads of camping gear. A road does run close to the lake, but it was closed to vehicles many years ago. It is this road that you will use to continue south on the Boulder Lakes Hike.

Huckleberries abound on the Little Boulder Lake Trail, which connects the two lakes. There are a couple of campsites close to the shore.
