Lake Sahalee Tyee is just north of the Thomas Lake Trail. The lake fills a volcanic crater. Sahalee Tyee means Indian Heaven.

Due to this area's popularity the camping at this lake is restricted. Camping closer than 250 feet of Lake Sahalee Tyee and nearby Blue Lake is permitted in designated spots only. Click on brochure image for a campsite map with coordinates.
