Description

Junction Lake is centrally located in the Indian Heaven Wilderness. Several small campsites are near the shore; the lake is a popular short backpack destination and a base for exploring the wilderness to the north, west, and south. Bog blueberries ripen in abundance here in late August/early September.

East Crater can be seen to the south. It is a short scramble up to the rim.
