Moving around this rocky crest, you may be able to make out [[Mount Jefferson]] through the trees to the south.

The rocky viewpoint on Huckleberry Mountain's crest (Martell)

Description

The coordinates given are not for the summit of Huckleberry Mountain, but for the rocky viewpoint north of it, which is a much better destination. There's a great view of Mount Hood from here on a good day, and views extend farther north to Mount Saint Helens. Moving around this rocky crest, you may be able to make out Mount Jefferson through the trees to the south.

The summit itself, at 4,378 feet, is just north of the Plaza-Bonanza Trail Junction, about 30 yards east of the trail and without views.
