From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

Revision as of 01:44, 29 October 2014 by Bobcat (Talk | contribs)

Goat Creek flowing under a bower of vine maple (bobcat)

Description

Goat Creek is one of the larger creeks you will cross on the Salmon River Trail. The creek tumbles steeply from here into the Salmon River Canyon. There is no footbridge, but stepping stones suffice most of the summer and fall.

There are several campsites just east of Goat Creek.
