From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

Mt. Hood from Frog Lake (bobcat)

Description

Frog Lake is a popular campground and day-use area just off of Highway 26 between Wapinitia and Blue Box Passes. There's a great view north to Mount Hood from the picnic area (Frog Lake Trailhead), and huckleberries can be prolific along the east shore in August. The campground is routinely scouted by black bears, so keep food in bear-proof containers when you are gone from your campsite/picnic site.

The campground and day-use area are run by a concessionaire. Day-use fees apply.
