Description

This is the original start of the Elk Cove Trail. Sometime later, the road was closed and the trailhead was moved 1.2 miles down to the start of the road.

The junction was marked at our last visit with a cairn, a sign, trees across the road and no less than 7 pieces of orange ribbon.
