Despite its name, Dry Creek is far from dry. Dry Creek Falls is one of the more impressive waterfalls in the Gorge. The waterfall is a horsetail, dropping through a weaker section in a large flow of columnar basalt. In fact the falls include several tiers above the one that is visible, but technical equipment is required to reach and explore these.
