Keep on 99 West through Tigard, Sherwood, Newberg and Dundee for 22.9 miles and then turn left onto Highway 18 for Dayton and the Oregon Coast.
Drive 48.2 miles on Highway 18 through Grand Ronde and Rose Lodge and turn left onto Bear Creek Road for the signposted Drift Creek Falls Trail.
Drive 3.2 miles (the last couple of these miles are gravel) to a junction, where you keep straight and the pavement resumes.
In 0.1 miles, there’s another junction. Go left here on FR 1700 for Drift Creek Camp. This is a paved, single-lane road.
Drive 1.3 miles and keep right for Drift Creek Camp at a junction.
In 3.6 miles, there’s another junction, where you bear right on the paved road.
It’s 0.8 miles from here to the trailhead parking on the left side of the road.
From the south: Drive through Depoe Bay and continue north. Just past the Salishan golf course, turn right on Drift Creek Road. In a quarter mile, angle right on South Drift Creek Road. Turn left on Forest Service Road 17 and drive up for ten miles to the trailhead. This is a long, slow climb.
