Hikes starting here

Driving Directions

There are many options for getting here depending on where you live. These directions are from downtown Portland.

Drive I-5 south and take Exit 294 for Highway 99W, Tigard, and Newberg. In 0.3 miles merge with Highway 99W.

Drive 1.4 miles into Tigard, and turn right at the traffic light for Greenburg Road.

Drive 0.8 miles on Greenburg Road, and then make a sharp left turn onto SW Tiedeman Avenue.

Go 0.3 miles on Tiedeman, and turn right onto Tigard Street.

Proceed 0.4 miles on Tigard Street to make a left turn into the parking area for Dirksen Nature Park.

Alternatives to Driving

Tri-met Bus #45 travels Walnut Street and stops at Fowler Middle School. You can access Dirksen Nature Park by walking north from Fowler Middle School.
