Driving Directions
From Portland:
Drive I-5 South to Exit 294 for 99W, Tigard and Newberg.
Keep on 99 West through Tigard, Sherwood, Newberg and Dundee for 22.9 miles and then turn left onto Highway 18 for Dayton and the Oregon Coast.
Drive all the way on Highway 18 (52.7 miles). Before Highway 101, there’s a junction where cars going north peel off to the right for Neskowin and Tillamook.
Drive 0.7 more miles and merge with Highway 101 South.
Drive 58.3 miles through Lincoln City and then Newport, cross the Yaquina Bay Bridge, and then pass through the communities of Seal Rock, Waldport, and Yachats.
Then, 1.2 miles past the turnoff for the Cape Perpetua Campground and Day Use Area, turn left onto FR 1050 for the Cummins Creek Trailhead.
Proceed 0.3 miles up this gravel road to the parking turnaround at the trailhead.
