On the shore of Cast Lake (bobcat)

Description

This is a small four-acre lake with a couple of campsites below the Zigzag Mountain ridge. Fishing is allowed. Compared to Burnt Lake, Cast Lake is smaller and less crowded because it's farther away from any trailhead and there's no view of Mount Hood. There are great huckleberry patches here at the end of summer.
