Description
This is a small dam used to supply water for the Bonneville Fish Hatchery. My best guess is that there's a pipe under the access road that delivers the water the the hatchery. High on the east side of the canyon near here are remnants of a flume that carried water to the hatchery in days gone by. At that point, there may have been an earlier dam farther up the creek.
