The Bend Glacier and the Three Sisters from the viewpoint (bobcat)

Description

There are expansive views north from this saddle on the Broken Top-Broken Hand ridge across Park and Red Meadows to the Three Sisters, with Mount Washington and Mount Jefferson distinguishable to the north. Much of the forest in view was scorched by the Pole Creek Fire of 2012. Below is the more substantial northern fragment of the Bend Glacier, with a couple of meltwater tarns glistening in the sun. Looking to the south, you'll see No Name Lake and Mount Bachelor. Broken Top's ragged, colorful, and layered crags rear above.
