Fees and regulations

  • Park open dawn to dusk
  • Universal access trail, picnic table, information kiosk, port-a-potty
  • Dogs on leash (Off-leash area at the trailhead)

Driving Directions

From Bend:

From the center of Bend (Greenwood Avenue), drive north on Highway 97 for about 15.8 miles into Redmond.

Turn left onto SW Veterans Way, and go 0.3 miles to Kalama Avenue.

Make a left, and drive two blocks to SW 12th Street.

Turn right, and proceed 0.6 miles to Black Butte Boulevard.

Go 0.2 miles, and turn right into the parking for the Dry Canyon Trail and the dog park.

From Madras:

From the south end of Madras, at the junction of Highways 26 and 97, keep driving south on Highway 97 for 23.9 miles into Redmond.

Turn right onto Antler Avenue, and go 0.2 miles.

Make a left turn onto SW 4th Street, and drive one block.

Then turn right onto Black Butte Boulevard, and go 0.6 miles.

Turn right into the parking for the Dry Canyon Trail and the dog park.
