Hello Hikers,
We have a few work parties (Washington Trails Association) coming up that need your help. Lee Young is leading a Thursday work party this week and we could use some extra help tackling the treadwork and brushing there (East Fork is over towards Silver Star Mountain), its a beautiful trail - see these trip reports. Brandon's weekend work at the end of the month could also use a bigger crew. His plan is to focus on the upper parts of the ridge between Dog and the junction with Augspurger.
- Thank you! Ryan

Re: Volunteers needed for Gifford Pinchot and Gorge work
Thanks for the heads up about these opportunities. I often check TKO’s work party calendar and forget to check WTA! I would love to return to East Fork, but it’ll have to wait: already working with TKO on the 20th.
For anyone who has never volunteered for trail work: it’s very fun, very non-pressured and therefore pretty much a neat activity for folks with all kind of fitness levels.
