Hi Geographics,
I think that was my cousin and me in the 4x4 (Tacoma) leaving the lake when you got there. Were you the guy in shorts letting us know your truck was parked 2.2 miles around a hairpin turn? I was thinking about you later hoping your legs didn't freeze off that night. I am glad you got some wonderful pics.

We went part way around the lake then came back to take a few last shots of the lake. We saw two otters swimming around in the lake!geographics wrote:Yes, that's a positive ID Lisa. Looks like you two had some gorgeous sunshine earlier, did you tour around the lake? Temps did drop pretty quickly after that and again from the switch from trudging through snowcake to milling about around a tripod, but my pack was full of enough fleece to keep me toasty during the shoot. Thanks for being cautious around the turn!
Looks like Ben caught the whole galaxy over Mt. Hood. very cool.
