We are from Colorado and just wanted spend Memorial Weekend somewhere we hadn't been to. We found Eagle Creek to Tunnel Falls Hike information from this site. What a great site! We absolutely love this trail. On May 29, 2010, it rained until late afternoon. The trail was busy but wasn't bad at all. We just want share some photos with everybody.
As soon as we got on the trail, we were surrounded by green, green and more green. This trail is totally different from ones in Colorado.
Absolutely love this kind of simple but beautiful trail. The air here is amazingly fresh.
This kind of trees can't be found in Colorado.
Water falls! - Punchbowl Falls
Look down from High Bridge. Amazing.
Finally we are at Tunnel Falls.
Trail by Tunnel Falls.
There's another nice fall right after Tunnel Falls.
Of course, you can find beautiful wildflowers along the trail.
And interesting plants.
And interesting dead trees.
Overall, we are very happy to find out this trail. Best of all, we didn't run into poison oaks and many mosquitoes. I love raining day like this because it makes everything greener.

Small world. If you were wearing orange as well, then I remember the two of you on the trail that day. If not, there was another pair of color-coordinated orange jackets on the same trail.
I like you moss covered forest picture. I could not quite capture the same intensity of color that you did.

Wonderful report and photos, Yongli! Yes, we are quite proud of this little gem of a trail, never taken for granted just because it is "simple" as you mentioned. It's so fun to view it through fresh eyes as yours, glad you had an excellent hike!
