I am updating my hiking book this spring, which is to say in some cases I am reviewing text I wrote ... well, maybe longer ago than I'd like to admit.
Anyway, yesterday I did the hike (mudslide) to Warrior Rock, and I recall seeing a shipwreck along the riverbank about two miles out. At least, that's what my book says, as my friends like to tease me.
No sign of it yesterday, and no mention in the Field Guide. Anybody remember this thing? Tell me I didn't imagine it. I recall it as a little barge, or maybe just the hull of whatever got stuck there. Perhaps the river reclaimed it in some subsequent flood.

a boat/trailer that you can then drive your car onto and float around? Did I get that right?
That seems unwise

The UFO boat is on Collins Beach (and still there I believe) - south of the Warrior Rock Trailhead.
A number of years ago, there was a boat ("ship" is a bit charitable) stuck on the strand south of Warrior Rock but it's been gone a few years now. This photo was taken in 2006:

I saw this ship wreck about a half mile North of the Warrior Rock Lighthouse September, 2020
