Oregon Coast Trail

Al LePage of Portland, the director of the National Coast Trail Association is hiking the Oregon Coast Trail for the second time. I saw the artical in the StatesmanJournal today and followed the link to the coasttrails.org web site.

I had not known about them and had only heard of the trail along the coast. The Outdoors page which runs on Thursdays is also worth a look.

Thanks for those links, Bill! Several of us have had the opportunity to meet Al, he is very passionate and an expert on the coast trail. It will be fascinating to learn more about his adventure when he returns!
