Yeah, Don is pretty impressive.
Imagine what he could accomplish if he got out of bed before noon.

Those results look unreal for me too:)
Re: 2020 in review
I love these threads!
Total mileage: Just over 1200
Elevation gain: No idea
Days hiking: 87
Longest day: 35 miles (in the Wallowas), though the Loowit felt longer
Longest hike: 100+ miles in the Wallowas (over 5 nights)
It was a rough year, I guess for everyone. Nice that the mountains were still there.

Finally got into the Mount Margaret Backcountry for the first time, amazing place.
Spent a lot of time on Mt Adams, so much less crowded then the normal spots.
Overall it was a great year in the woods.
Re: 2020 in review
My goal for the year was 100,000 feet of elevation gain, which I hit on Christmas Eve somewhere on Table Mountain.
I only went on one backpacking trip, a single night in Jefferson Park in July. A buddy and I were planning to do the Timberline Trail in September until the Labor Day windstorm and wildfires forced us to cancel.
Earliest start was 3:30am for the Mt. Adams climb, which I did as a day hike.
Latest start was 6pm for a hike up Cooper Spur, timed to get a good view of Comet NEOWISE on the way down.
