Decided to explore the BLM land just east of Eagle Fern Park on Kitzmiller Road. Was pleased to find a riverside trail starting maybe a half mile up the road (or less). The trail goes about 0.7 miles, offering multiple little paths down to the creek. Around 0.7 miles the trail terminates at the creek, and I assume that farther east than that is private property, but I don't know for sure.
Anyone done this trail, and/or know its name and history?
North Fork Eagle Creek (Estacada) riverside hike

Looks like it's an old road. BLM property ends about 1/4 mile east of the track's end on the topo map (vertical red line).

Aaron,
You have me curious now.
Is the trail you were on, on the south side of the creek, or north?

@Bobcat, that sounds likely. There are some spots where it's wide enough. And at one point there's some gravel and some tire ruts, but only in that one spot.
@Jerry, north side. There are a few parking pull-offs off of Kitzmiller Rd with paths leading to the main 'trail'. The one I was at, <0.5 miles from the west end of the road, had an old beat-up sign about volunteers having maintained the area.
