Post by Ron Goodwin » February 23rd, 2020, 11:05 am

The Mt. Hood Chapter's Annual Meeting is at Pearson Air Museum next to Ft. Vancouver, WA 1115 East 5th Street 98661 from 12 to 3pm Saturday February 29th. All volunteers, family, friends and people interested in trail work are invited to this FREE event with goodies and beverages too. Last years accomplishments and awards will be presented as the Mt. Hood Chapter is the caretaker for the 211 miles of the PCT between Brittenbush Lake and Mt. Adams plus many feeder trails around Ramona Falls and in the Columbia River Gorge.

Keynote speaker this year is Jurgen Hess who is the Board Treasurer/Photo Journalist with Columbia Insight with 34 years experience with the USFS as a past planner and manager for the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area.

Pictures show recent the recent February work on the Eagle Creek Trail and trail work south of Timberline Lodge last summer.
