Hi fellow nature lovers,
Looking for one nighter backpacking recommnedation 6-11 miles RT this coming weekend.
We were planning on doing Goat Rocks Wilderness but looks like weather in Portland Seattle area won't be forgiving.
Bend still looks good. Something in that area that you guys would recommend ?
Thanks,
Dhaval

just a chance of rain - 0.1 inch per 24 hour period - might be doable
the further south the less rain - mt hood and three sisters a little less rain
east even less rain, like Mill Creek wilderness
I have the same question, I might go to Trinity Alps - no rain - 400 mile drive

This weekend is still quite a few days away, and weather forecasts can change.
Maybe keep Goat Rocks as your primary plan, and then pick a secondary location if the forecast turns south later in the week.
Maybe something like Camp Lake would be a good secondary option? This seems like a good time of year for it if the weather truly holds off.
