I could write "Hi Chip" on them

(I'm not really going to do this, the thought just occurred to me is all)

Okay, so it's not a wilderness area, and sorry I don't have pictures...

but I was blessed by a quartet of mylar balloons stranded and deflated on a bush in Graham Oaks Nature Park this week. One balloon was a solid purple, the second a solid turquoise and the other two were silver with outlines of flowers. They probably only traveled a couple of blocks out of the Villebois neighborhood. I retrieved them and deposited them into the TH canister. Still prefer the colorful balloons to the dog poop bags left behind at trailside (or dangling from a nearby bush).

Further evidence that the highest balloons are rubber, not mylar. Mississippi head, a couple weeks ago, last weekend before the snow came.
