Seems silly, but I need to know. Thanks!

Yes, but maybe you should consider starting from a trailhead that doesn't require a Northwest Forest Pass?

My buddies and I are backpacking into Green Lakes for 3 nights on Monday (hopefully that avoids the crowds somewhat) so I don't think there's any other options for trailheads that aren't long distance. I might just convince my buddies, who actually live in Oregon and Washington, to get the annual pass and have us Nevadans pitch in.adamschneider wrote: ↑August 8th, 2019, 8:39 amYes, but maybe you should consider starting from a trailhead that doesn't require a Northwest Forest Pass?

one NW Forest Pass or equivalent per car
for trailheads requiring it

There are both one-day passes ($5) and an annual pass ($30). If you choose one-day passes, then yes you will need four of them to cover four days. Passes are required for each vehicle.
