Mt. Hood Chapter PCTA Annual Meeting

Post by Ron Goodwin » February 26th, 2019, 1:01 pm

All interested hikers and friends are welcome to the Annual Meeting of the Mt. Hood Chapter of the PCTA. We have the 211 mile section from Mt. Adams to the southern boundary of Mt. Hood NF near Jefferson Park plus many feeder trails in the Gorge and around Ramona Falls.

There will be presentations of what our volunteers accomplished last year (over 29,000 hours) and then the presentation by Rachael Pawlitz FS of the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area of the work accomplished in the Gorge after the Eagle Creek Fire. She is the PR person who you have seen on TV news and Facebook explaining what was being done and what changes were taking place as we got openings of trails.

FREE
Saturday March 2nd from Noon to 3pm with goodies available.
This year we are in the Pearson Air Park Museum 1115 E. 5th St. in Vancouver at the east end of Ft. Vancouver in the Ted Rankin Theater inside the Museum.

This is a good time to meet the volunteers who have done the work and an opportunity to sign up and help the Mt. Hood Chapter as we start a new year.
