TR backlog: McNeil Point 10/14/18
I know it's late but I just joined the site and thought I should share some photos from some trips from over the summer. In late October I did went on a day hike up to McNeil Point to catch the last of the fall colors. Anyway, here's the pics:
And finally, for the parting shot:

If I was planning a trip out there for next fall, what's the latest I could safely plan to hike (and possibly camp) on Hood before the snow hits? We went last summer and absolutely loved it, and I'm ready to go back. Curious if anybody has an opinion on the fall. Thanks!

October, November, depends on the year. That's the best time because there are no bugs and it's not hot.

The weather was just about perfect in late October last year. High of 65 or so, no bugs, fall colors still around... Freezes at night but that’s bound to happen.
