Howdy! Can anyone advise if microspikes would be useful for the Timberline this time of year? Thanks in advance

no

there's still probably a couple snowfields on the east side above Cooper Spur, but it's easy to just walk across

Anyone know about pct from timberline to cascade locks? Weather wise?

I brought mine when I did it 3 weeks ago. I used them twice on river crossings. Totally not needed for the tiny snow patches that were there then. (They are likely long gone.)

I probably didn't need them on the river crossings either, but I was doing the trail alone and was extra cautious.
