The south side of Broken Top has very few trees.
But, I'm not a hammocker, but you could probably find enough areas. If you went clockwise, just keep going until you found a spot, maybe towards Green Lakes.
I wouldn't want to camp on the east side because there are cars, RVs, screaming kids and adults,...

I just did this hike ccw from Tam McArthur TH. Made the short side trips to Little Three Creeks Lake and Golden Lake. I did it in two days, camping at Green Lakes and hiking up to No Name Lake and following the ridge back to TM TH to have lunch and swim in Three Creeks Lake. Great 2-3 day hike.
