Backpack With An OH Legend 4/26-4/29

Post by Born2BBrad » April 20th, 2018, 9:53 am

Actually a legend in my own mind. Good weather comin’ up. Would rather go with someone than by myself.

Criteria:
- Available 4/26-4/29
- Willing to drive 6 hours
- Strong, experienced hiker
- Ready for adventurous routes
- Early riser
- Not an unaccompanied female (wife says no way)
- A historical presence on Oregon Hikers website

PM me if interested and available. It will be awesome!

Good to see that American marriage norms are keeping the Puritan spirit alive and well, fellas.

Any idea where you'd like to go within that 6 hr drive?

I was thinking either Wenaha River/Crooked Creek from Troy or Hells Canyon Bench Trail via Freezeout Saddle. Elevation has to stay mostly below 4000', so not as many options. The N. Fk. John Day River Trail is an option too. It stays below 4000' for many miles.
