Bushwacker: I'm jealous, the owl and happy face would be nice enhancements to an otherwise dreary forest.
FYI - I'm also one of those people who hang colorful ornaments over the sidewalk in front on my house for people to admire as they plod along past the puddles and leafless trees on their way to the corner coffee shop. Your welcome.
Happy Birthday!

Re: Happy Birthday!
Need to get caught up here.
From two weeks ago: From last week: From Monday (1/8): My sister always hated me because I would find all of the Easter Eggs when we were kids
Mylar balloon factoid: A mylar balloon can reach up to 10km (over 30,000 feet) before popping.

Re: Happy Birthday!
Time to release another balloon
Let's see if Chip will find this one...Re: Happy Birthday!
Three in one day! The first two were found just a few feet apart, with a similar theme and in similar condition, which makes me suspect they were once connected by a ribbon, which was subsequently scavenged and is probably now part of a bird's nest or something.

Didn't find mine... yet...
Re: Happy Birthday!
Like my previous post, this is a plain balloon, but in a considerably less attractive setting. It served as a nice bit of flagging when I was off-trail and not 100% certain I could retrace my steps, so I was happy to see it.
