Field Guide Waypoints Update

Post by Martell » September 16th, 2009, 12:00 pm

Just updated the waypoints for Portland Hikers maps. We are now up to 1022 points.

I have attached a GPX file that you can load into your GPS, and see the waypoints. The standard disclaimer applies- we can't guarantee the accuracy of any of the waypoints. You can help us correct them if you notice any errors.

Not sure why but I can't open. I have used every utility that I can think of including expertgps the topographix software and I get the same error message

The Open command could not be completed. The file phfieldguide9-16-09.gpx could not be opened.
C:\Documents and Settings\Default\Desktop\phfieldguide9-16-09.gpx is not a valid file.
It may have been damaged, or it may contain garbage data.
Invalid XML:

<body>
<pre><?xml version="1.0" standalone="yes"?>...
XML Error 0xC00CE56D on line 2, position 75
Reason: End tag 'head' does not match the start tag 'meta'.

Any ideas?

Give it a shot now. Something messed up the XML the first time around.
