I had to laugh about this one. I did once upon a time camp out in Eagle Creek with a couple friends on New Years. One was a guy I worked with and the other a woman who was visiting me. So we are back in there some ways though I can't recall where. I mean this was like 1980? It was snowing heavy and some tree limbs started breaking and crashing down from the very wet snow. You could hear them snap. I really don't think it was just shifted weight releasing the snow. One such incident put out the small campfire. Oh well, I guess it's time for bed. The guy had a tent to himself. I got to listen to complaints about safety and how could I possibly sleep with that going on outside. "Welcome to the great outdoors" was about all I could think of to say. ;) We did have lots of homemade Kahlua with us.

It really depends on the weather. We love to camp if it is clear and full of stars. Not so much if it is a blizzard or pouring rain.
The mountains are calling and I must go.
